This newly created position will lead all business development initiatives for Keypath Education’s new stand-alone clinical placement services. The Vice President will be responsible for developing the strategy, planning, selling, and contract negotiation/execution with prospective university and other consumer partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify compelling data on clinical placement services, universities, and potential consumers to create sales presentations.
- Leverage a curious approach to understand consumer challenges and identify innovative solutions.
- Utilize Keypath colleagues for support at various stages of the sales process.
- Build trust and foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop proposal strategies focusing on Keypath’s financial positioning, product offerings, and value in the higher education marketplace.
- Differentiate Keypath’s services in the competitive market through creative collaboration.
- Drive key objectives and alignment between partners and Keypath.
- Develop marketing plans targeting and closing specific services in specific schools with senior leadership.
- Negotiate business terms for mutually beneficial partner agreements.
- Manage partner relationships throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Make formal presentations to senior-level audiences in the higher education sector.
- Conduct needs analyses with new clients and explain services, costs, and advantages.
- Use Solution Selling to determine client needs and develop sales strategies.
- Keep Sales CRM data accurate and provide summaries of strategy calls and onsite visits.
- Manage the proposal process for Master Agreements and Term Sheets.
- Contribute to overall business success.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: 10+ years of successful business development in Higher Education, complex environments, and healthcare is a plus; experience selling fee-for-service initiatives.
Skills/Attributes: Excellent negotiation skills, adaptability, results-oriented, strong work ethic, excellent communication (interpersonal, written, and verbal), tech-savviness (CRM platforms), ability to travel.
Compensation: Base salary range USD $135,000-$165,000 (+ commission plan), adjusted based on experience, location, etc.
