The NIQ Partner Network is a curated marketplace of partners. The Vice President, Partner Acquisition will be responsible for executing NIQ's partner acquisition strategy, maximizing revenue through innovative data partnerships and selling data as a service. This role will lead a team responsible for securing new business and managing accounts throughout the entire sales cycle.
Job Responsibilities and Scope
- Lead the Partner Acquisition team to meet revenue targets.
- Execute sales initiatives, attend trade shows, conduct marketing campaigns, qualify leads, and conduct demos.
- Proactively prospect for partnerships.
- Use a consultative selling approach to identify client needs.
- Execute the entire sales process: feasibility, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
- Collaborate with NIQ Partner Network SMEs on contracting and data governance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospects.
- Manage multiple prospects and projects concurrently.
- Become proficient in NIQ solutions, systems, data, and tools.
- Collaborate with NIQ product and strategy leads.
- Renew and upsell existing clients.
- Transition clients to the Partner Development team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of sales or partnership experience developing new business.
- 5+ years of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- Experienced sales leader with a hunter mentality.
- Track record of over-quota achievement.
- Strong strategic prospecting and new business development skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate complex organizations and sell to multiple decision-makers.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, creative thinking, and passion for building relationships.
- Experience collaborating with and selling to C-level executives.
Background and Technical Skills
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong analytical aptitude.
- Proven experience meeting sales revenue targets.
