Oncology Sales is a dedicated organization within Guardant Health focused on commercializing the Guardant 360® and Reveal® portfolio. The Oncology Sales team brings early to advanced-stage cancer tests to market, acting with speed and urgency to serve patients benefiting from advanced analytics and proprietary testing.
About the Role: Join the growing Oncology Sales commercial team as an experienced field-based Account Executive. Work alongside sales leadership to drive market sales strategy and business expansion for oncology healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic business expansion with major cancer centers, top oncology practices, KOLs, and AMCs.
- Develop strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
- Maximize client contracting opportunities (laboratory services agreements).
- Collaborate with sales positions (Head of Sales, etc.) to meet company goals.
- Identify and develop partnerships with oncology clients.
- Promote compliance with web-based molecular information tools.
- Analyze competitive landscape, provide customer feedback.
- Monitor sales performance and develop a comprehensive business plan.
- Work effectively with various departments.
- Represent the Guardant Health company culture.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of direct account management in molecular diagnostics.
- 3-5 years of experience with major cancer centers, oncology GPOs, health systems, etc.
- Demonstrated revenue generation at a diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or biotech company.
- Ability to provide integrated MolDx solutions.
- Experience engaging in consultative selling and communicating at executive levels.
- Understanding of payor and reimbursement environments.
- Strong understanding of molecular diagnostics and the competitive landscape.
- Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Salesforce.com utilization.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of oncology, hematology, chemotherapeutics, and targeted agents.
- Frequent travel required.
- B.S. in life science, biology, business, or marketing preferred
Salary Range: $138,400 - $186,840 (USD)
