Full-Time Account Specialist

Coordinate production of client materials or related services.

Maintain positive customer relations through active engagement of the customer throughout the manufacturing process.

• Engage customers to gather job requirements and translate them into detailed manufacturing/kitting instructions, and shipping/postal instructions.
• Offer suggestions to customers regarding workflow/process improvements.
• Conduct quality reviews of other Account Specialists to ensure accuracy before production.
• Enter and verify job instructions in manufacturing/procurement systems.
• Inform customers about job status during production and solicit additional information.
• Coordinate changes to jobs and potentially review/forward proofs with customers.
• Coordinate production of components with internal plants or external vendors.
• Resolve customer or manufacturing issues with customer jobs.
• Communicate with customers regarding issue resolutions.
• Provide pre-sales support, discussing manufacturing capabilities.
• Monitor job progress during production, confer with manufacturing on counts and final runs, ensuring final product meets requirements.
• Tally final production runs and work performed for billing purposes.
• Potentially mentor junior staff or work on special projects.

Business Unit/Platform Specific Duties

• Determine supplies and paper needed for jobs, including using vendors.
• Assist sales in RFP process, supplying estimates and determining efficient job processing.
• Handle the composition and/or copy prep of customer products.

Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
