Job Details
Overall Purpose of Job: The role is responsible for facilitating, posting, and clearing third-party customer payments for entities. It also provides accurate and up-to-date financial information to internal and external parties. The role handles dispute resolution, maintains account balances, and identifies process improvements through root cause analysis.
Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:
- Actively involved in the transition of accounting processes from European entities to Hungary.
- Involved in day-to-day operations, including:
- Credit management
- Invoicing
- Incoming payment processing
- Collection management & dunning
- Customer disputes
- AR Closing and periodical activities
- Adheres to service levels, policies, and procedures, and internal controls.
- Discovers, evaluates, and resolves issues.
- Identifies and works on process improvements.
- Collaborates with business and stakeholders to develop professional relationships.
- Serves as an ambassador for the organization toward customers.
- Creates and updates process manuals/relevant work instructions.
Education: University or college degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
Experience: Strong AR knowledge with at least 3 years of finance operations experience in an SSC, preferably in a service-driven, customer-oriented environment.
Technical/IT Knowledge: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and SAP FI Module.
Language: Fluent in English.
Skills and Competencies: Communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Proactive, outcome-focused, and self-motivated attitude.
