Full-Time Associate Account Executive - Screening

Join the growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team at Guardant Health as a field-based Associate Account Executive.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prospect and target healthcare providers to maximize utilization of SHIELD for CRC screening.
• Meet or exceed sales goals, and maximize promotional budgets.
• Seek strategic business expansion/collaboration opportunities.
• Develop and implement a business plan aligned with brand strategy.
• Identify and partner with laboratories for phlebotomy draw agreements.
• Identify market opportunities, share best practices, and communicate strategies to cross-functional partners.
• Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback to leadership.
• Recommend strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
• Manage promotional activities in the assigned territory.
• Work effectively with individuals across multiple departments.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure company goals are met.
• Represent Guardant Health values.
• Uphold company mission and values.

Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience in a customer-facing field-based sales role (ideally in healthcare).
• Strong closing abilities and proven past performance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Consultative selling skills, and ability to handle objections.
• Market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
• Develop and utilize cross-functional relationships.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with diagnostic product sales.
• Product launch planning and execution experience.
• Familiarity with the primary care practice landscape.

Personal Requirements:

• Ability to meet doctor office entry/access requirements.
• Ability to travel daily throughout the territory.

Salary: $96,000 - $105,000 (US).
