AECOM is seeking a growth-focused Global Water Automation & Operational Intelligence Leader to lead digital water engineering and management solutions. The role will evolve, own, and execute a strategy to establish AECOM as a leader in global digital water automation and operational intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and execute a strategic growth plan for the division.
- Identify new services and revenue streams.
- Interact with clients and partners to build relationships and promote new products/services.
- Implement the Water Automation Business Strategy & Roadmap.
- Develop a scalable, unified global organization to deliver digital automation and intelligence offerings.
- Create and execute a technology and digital transformation roadmap.
- Develop and implement rigorous operations, processes, and procedures.
- Implement foundational cross-functional workflows.
- Lead critical projects and partner with regions/EC.
- Continuously develop new products/solutions.
- Lead AECOM's global Digital water and engineering teams.
- Align and drive the division culture, fostering accountability and staff development.
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in relevant engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Electrical, Water Resources) or equivalent experience + 12 years experience in digital water.
- 4 years of leadership experience in water engineering.
- Proven track record developing/implementing digital strategies in water engineering.
- Experience with water treatment automation systems planning & implementation.
- Strong understanding of industrial cybersecurity, AI-driven water quality analysis, predictive maintenance and remote services in the water sector.
- Ability to lead and grow teams, collaborate across teams/business lines, and manage stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree + 15 years relevant experience.
- PE license or equivalent.
- Proven success in driving digital transformation initiatives.
- Track record of business development and revenue growth in digital water.
