Full-Time Bartender

Bartender Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
Mix ingredients to create classic and innovative cocktails.
Take food and drink orders from customers and enter them into the POS system.
Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
Check customers' identification to ensure age requirements for alcohol purchase.
Restock and replenish bar inventory.
Comply with food and beverage regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
Process payments and operate cash registers.
Monitor customer alcohol consumption and take appropriate action to limit intake if necessary.
Assist in creating drink menus and seasonal specials.
Maintain knowledge of current beverage trends and mixology techniques.
Resolve customer complaints.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure efficient service.
Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• 2+ years of experience in the hotel industry
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in hospitality or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment
• Excellent knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
• Knowledge of POS systems and cash registers
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
• Additional language skills a plus
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Team player with a positive attitude and professional appearance
