As a Seasonal Benefit Customer Service Representative, you will help our client plan participants with enrollment and updates to healthcare and/or pension plans. You'll have the flexibility to provide excellent service on each contact.
Work Style: Remote (after initial training). You'll spend your day on the phone, with opportunities for chat and message center support.

Compensation: Starting pay is $17.00/hr, with potential for increase after one month.
Work Schedule: 40-hour week during busy season, possible overtime. Initial training and off-season hours may fluctuate between 32-40 hours based on need.
Responsibilities:
- Build rapport with plan participants, exceeding expectations with respectful, accurate, and timely communication.
- Adjust customer service approach for various communication styles, maintaining professionalism.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information (medical, financial, etc.) adhering to HIPAA and data privacy laws.
- Explain complex plan information to customers.
- Read and understand plan documents and online resources, addressing immediate needs and anticipating future needs.
- Adhere to company and client procedures.
- Document call and case notes completely and accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Participate in team meetings and training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and address member concerns.
- Ability to work in a structured environment, adhering to schedules and protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, managing multiple windows.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
- Understanding and following oral and written instructions.
- Experience in a customer service role is a plus.
- High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Knowledge of health and welfare plans is a plus.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
