The Role
As a Seasonal Bilingual Benefits Customer Service Representative, you will assist Spanish and English client members with enrollment and healthcare/pension plan updates. You will provide excellent customer service via phone, chat, and message center. This is a work-from-home opportunity after initial training. Benefits include a 401(k) Savings Plan, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and Commuter Accounts program.
Compensation
- Starting pay: $18.75/hr during the paid training program (approximately 1 month).
- Pay increase: $19.50/hr after successful completion of training.
- Work hours: 40 hours/week during the busy season, with potential overtime. During training and off-season, hours may fluctuate between 32 to 40 hours.
- This is a seasonal role with potential for full-time opportunities for high performers.
Key Responsibilities
- Build rapport and respond to Spanish-speaking customers compassionately.
- Customize customer service approach for different communication styles.
- Safeguard confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws.
- Translate complex plan information into simple instructions.
- Read and understand client’s plan documents and online knowledgebase tools.
- Maintain accurate call and case notes in English.
- Participate in team meetings and training.
- Communicate and collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
Required Skills
