Overall Purpose: The Billing and Price Difference Specialist ensures accurate and timely billing document creation (manual or automated invoicing; debit and credit note creation), addressing and resolving pricing/billing discrepancies. This role maintains financial accuracy and enhances customer satisfaction by identifying and correcting billing issues.
Main tasks:
- Actively participates in the transition of accounting processes from European entities to Hungary.
- Adheres to service levels, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Discovers, evaluates, and resolves issues.
- Identifies and implements process improvements.
- Collaborates with business stakeholders to build professional relationships.
- Creates and updates process manuals/work instructions.
Billing Operations:
- Prepares, validates, and issues invoices to customers according to established processes and timelines.
- Collaborates with internal teams to resolve incomplete/inaccurate billing information.
- Monitors and releases blocked billing documents.
- Creates credit notes for approved dispute cases.
- Executes invoice cancellation based on business requests.
Price Difference Analysis and Reporting:
- Enters price difference information into SAP.
- Reports price differences and retro pricing to sales and pricing teams.
- Creates price revaluation documents based on sales input.
- Conducts recurring meetings with sales and pricing teams.
Experiences and Requirements:
- Education: University/college degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or relevant experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in billing, preferably in an SSC environment.
- Customer Focus: Experience in a service-driven, customer-oriented environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and SAP FI Module. Macro and Query management knowledge is a plus.
- Language: Fluent in English. Additional language skills are a plus.
