Care Solutions Consultant

About the Work: The Care Solutions Consultant assesses customer needs and explains how Home Instead (an Honor company) provides home care services to aging adults. Using excellent customer service and sales skills, engage with customers via phone, chat, and text. Educate and engage potential clients, schedule follow-up consultations, handle inbound and outbound calls using lead management tools, meet a quota, and maintain high call quality. This individual contributor role reports to the Sales Manager, supporting the Home Instead Franchise Network in the US and Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to incoming calls, emails, and web inquiries.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding needs and recommending tailored solutions.
  • Meet sales goals, handle time, maintain call quality, and improve productivity.
  • Achieve monthly targets for starts of care.
  • Exceed individual sales quotas and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify customer needs, demonstrate service solutions, and secure commitments.
  • Complete 75-90 calls per day (inbound and customer inquiries).
  • Assess potential customers to determine the best service fit by asking questions and understanding needs and budget.
  • Actively listen, understand unique situations and care requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing questions and resolving concerns.
  • Build rapport, listen attentively, and present solutions persuasively.
  • Guide prospective clients through the decision-making process to initiate starts of care.
  • Actively participate in coaching sessions, review call performance, receive feedback, and engage in peer-to-peer coaching.
  • Assess personal sales approaches, identify areas for growth, and implement improvements.
  • Accurately record client interactions, track sales progress, manage follow-up activities in the CRM system.
  • Maintain organized records, track conversion outcomes.
  • Stay updated on company services, industry trends, and aging population needs.
  • Provide feedback to enhance service and improve client conversion rates.
  • Work closely with franchise owners and internal teams.

About you:

  • Understanding of aging, their needs, and a passion for providing assistance.
  • Prior experience (a plus): providing care to aging individuals or in healthcare/home health.
  • Strong ability to actively listen, ask questions, tailor conversations to individual needs.
  • Commitment to building trust, understanding concerns, and guiding customers toward solutions.
  • High-volume call environment experience; expect 75-90 calls per day.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; connect with people personally.
  • Ability to explain services and secure customer commitment.
  • Passion for sales and commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Positive attitude, patience, empathy.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Prior experience in health or homecare preferred.
  • 3+ years of phone-based sales experience (inbound and outbound) preferred.
  • Some night and weekend hours required.
  • Remote work experience, ability to train, learn, and work remotely free from distractions.
  • Hardwired internet service with minimum speeds of 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload required.
  • Meet key team metrics (sales goals, handle time, call quality, and productivity).

Our Range Reflects Hiring Range: $19.50 - $22.10 USD

Remote Work: Honor is remote friendly and hiring across the U.S. with an entirely virtual interview and onboarding process. Most positions are remote and don't require relocation.
