Build strong one-on-one relationships with participants to help overcome challenges in obtaining and retaining employment or technical training.
Counsel and assist participants regarding job search strategies, career advice, and training issues.
Identify and address employment barriers.
Assist with goal setting and planning.
Identify resources, programs, and services for customers as needed.
Work with a diverse range of cultures, languages, educational, and economic backgrounds.
Advise, monitor, and track participation to maximize program functions and opportunities.
Collaborate with schools, account managers, and management to ensure proper documentation.
Manage daily customer relationships. Address concerns promptly with actionable plans to ensure satisfaction, and document findings with clear, concise, and timely case notes.
Stay updated on various occupations and career paths.
Provide motivational support throughout the job search process.
Identify training needs and ensure appropriate training.
Facilitate job readiness/search workshops.
Develop strategies for re-engaging customers after training and finding employment.
Follow the Case Management Model guidelines.
Document customer success stories internally and externally.
Analyze and critique resumes/documentation for effective processing and customer eligibility.
Document all participant contacts and activities in case notes.
Complete required enrollment documentation accurately.
Maintain accurate records and correspondence.
Assist in preparing project reports (participation, placement) as needed.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures for career advisement. Assist in training other team members on these guidelines.
Develop and maintain a communication plan to keep staff informed of program issues and their roles.
Work under the Project Director's direction to complete tasks. Support program team members as needed.
Provide operational support and coverage as needed.
Work well in teams, with business customers, and with other staff.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
May be assigned other related tasks and duties.
