Full-Time Cashier/Customer Service Agent

We are seeking a courteous and efficient cashier with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Scanning items, ensuring accuracy of prices and quantities.
• Accepting payments and issuing receipts.
• Answering customer inquiries and providing helpful product information.
• Handling complaints, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintaining a clean workspace.
• Welcoming customers, locating items, and offering advice/recommendations.
• Operating cash registers, scanners, and other equipment.
• Balancing cash registers and generating sales reports.
• Processing refunds/exchanges/complaints.
• Bagging purchases and following store procedures (coupons, gift cards, alcohol/cigarette purchases).

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service or cashier experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle transactions responsibly.
• Strong customer service skills, basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Helpful and courteous approach to resolving complaints.
