Job Details
We are looking for an efficient, courteous cashier with excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Scanning customer selections, ensuring price and quantity accuracy
- Accepting payments, issuing receipts
- Answering customer inquiries, providing product information, promotions, or location assistance
- Handling complaints, processing refunds/exchanges
- Maintaining a clean workspace
- Welcoming customers, answering questions, helping locate items, and providing advice/recommendations
- Operating scanners, scales, cash registers
- Balancing cash register, generating sales reports
- Accepting payments, verifying prices/quantities, providing receipts
- Processing refunds/exchanges, resolving complaints
- Bagging/wrapping purchases
- Following store procedures (coupons, gift cards, alcohol/cigarette sales)
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service or cashier experience
- Accurate and responsible transaction handling
- High energy, strong customer service skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work in a fast-paced team environment
- Attention to detail
- Helpful, courteous approach to complaints
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00/hour
