Job Details
We are looking for an efficient, courteous cashier who possesses excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Scanning customer selections
- Ensuring price and quantity accuracy
- Accepting payments and issuing receipts
- Answering customer inquiries and providing product/promotion/location assistance
- Responding to complaints and processing refunds/exchanges
- Maintaining a clean workspace
- Welcoming customers, answering questions, assisting with locating items, and providing advice/recommendations
- Operating scanners, scales, cash registers
- Balancing cash register and generating sales reports
- Accepting payments, ensuring accuracy, and providing receipts
- Processing refunds/exchanges and resolving complaints
- Bagging/wrapping purchases
- Following store procedures (coupons, gift cards, alcohol/cigarette purchases)
- Maintaining a clean workspace
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service/cashier experience
- Accurate and responsible transaction handling
- High energy with strong customer service skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Helpful and courteous approach to complaints

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
