Full-Time Cashier/Customer Service Agent

We are seeking a courteous and efficient cashier with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Scanning items, ensuring accuracy of prices and quantities.
2. Processing payments and issuing receipts.
3. Answering customer inquiries and providing product information, promotions, or locating items.
4. Handling complaints, refunds, and exchanges.
5. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
6. Welcoming customers, answering questions, locating items, and providing recommendations.
7. Operating scanners, cash registers, and other equipment.
8. Balancing cash register, generating sales reports.
9. Accepting payments and ensuring accuracy of transactions.
10. Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.
11. Bagging/wrapping purchases.
12. Adhering to store policies (e.g., coupons, gift cards, alcohol/cigarette sales).

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service or cashier experience
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Helpful and courteous approach to resolving complaints
