Full-Time Cashier/Customer Service Agent

We are looking for an efficient, courteous cashier with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Scanning items, ensuring accurate prices and quantities.
• Accepting payments and issuing receipts.
• Answering customer inquiries and providing product information.
• Handling complaints, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintaining a clean workspace.
• Welcoming customers, answering questions, and providing item location guidance.
• Operating scanners, scales, and cash registers.
• Balancing cash registers, generating sales reports, and accepting payments.
• Processing refunds, exchanges, and resolving complaints.
• Bagging/wrapping purchases for safe transport.
• Adhering to store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, alcohol, and tobacco.
• Maintaining a clean workspace.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service or cashier experience.
• Strong work ethic and high level of accuracy.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift items, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Helpful and courteous approach to resolving complaints.
