Full-Time Cashier/Customer Service Agent

We are looking for an efficient and courteous cashier with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Scanning customer selections
• Ensuring price and quantity accuracy
• Accepting payments and issuing receipts
• Answering customer inquiries and providing helpful information
• Responding to complaints and processing refunds/exchanges
• Maintaining a clean workspace
• Welcoming customers, answering questions, locating items and providing advice/recommendations
• Operating scanners, scales, cash registers and other electronics
• Balancing cash register and generating sales reports
• Processing refunds/exchanges, and resolving complaints
• Bagging/wrapping purchases
• Following store procedures for coupons, gift cards, alcohol/cigarette purchases

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service/cashier experience
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
• High energy level with strong customer service skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Helpful and courteous approach to resolving complaints
