Job Details
We are looking for an efficient, courteous cashier who possesses excellent customer service skills.
The cashier will scan customer selections, ensure price and quantity accuracy, accept payments, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information regarding products, promotions, or item locations.
You will also respond to complaints, process refunds/exchanges, and maintain a clean workspace.
To succeed, you should have a strong work ethic and high accuracy.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming customers, answering questions, helping locate items, and providing advice or recommendations.
- Operating scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics.
- Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit/debit sales.
- Accepting payments, ensuring accuracy, and providing receipts.
- Processing refunds/exchanges and resolving complaints.
- Bagging/wrapping purchases for safe transport.
- Following store procedures for coupons, gift cards, alcohol/cigarette purchases.
- Maintaining a clean workspace.
Requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service/cashier experience.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
- High energy, strong customer service skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a helpful, courteous approach to complaints.
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour. Paid training with sign-on bonus
