Full-Time Cashier/Customer Service Agent

We are looking for an efficient, courteous cashier with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Scan customer selections, ensuring accuracy of prices and quantities.
• Accept payments, issue receipts, and answer customer inquiries.
• Provide helpful information about products, promotions, or locations.
• Respond to complaints, process refunds/exchanges.
• Maintain a clean workspace.
• Welcoming customers, answering questions, helping locate items, providing advice.
• Operating scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit/debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring accuracy and providing receipts.
• Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.
• Bagging or wrapping purchases for safe transport.
• Following store procedures (coupons, gift cards, alcohol/cigarette purchases).
• Maintaining a clean workspace.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service/cashier experience
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
• High energy with strong customer service skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail
• Helpful and courteous approach to resolving complaints.
