Job Details
We are looking for an efficient, courteous cashier with excellent customer service skills. Cashiers will scan customer selections, ensuring price and quantity accuracy, accept payments, issue receipts, and answer customer inquiries about products, promotions, and locations.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming customers, answering questions, and assisting with item location.
- Operating scanners, scales, and cash registers.
- Balancing cash registers and generating sales reports.
- Processing payments, ensuring accuracy, and providing receipts.
- Handling refunds, exchanges, and resolving complaints.
- Bagging/wrapping purchases.
- Adhering to store procedures (e.g., coupons, gift cards, alcohol/cigarette sales).
- Maintaining a clean workspace.
Requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service or cashier experience.
- Accurate and responsible transaction handling.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a helpful, courteous approach to complaints.
Pay: $19.00 - $29.00 per hour. Paid training with sign-on bonus.
