Job Details
Director of Retail is responsible for client management and relationships, selling solutions to the client, overseeing deliverables, the revenue management process, business development, and collaborating with manufacturer groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Build and grow relationships with key contacts and decision-makers at clients.
- Revenue Management: Own the revenue management process, including financial targets, cash flow optimization, billing, and contract process.
- People Leadership: Lead a team of Analysts, Associate Client Managers, Client Managers, and Associate Client Directors.
- Selling: Identify, gain alignment, and sell existing and new product concepts to clients; drive revenue growth through client relationships.
- Product Representation: Represent client voice within NielsenIQ for winning strategies.
- Legal: Understand NielsenIQ contracting framework and collaborate to design agreements.
- Market Intelligence: Uncover and disseminate retailer, manufacturer, and competitive intelligence.
- Client Needs: Identify, research, and action all client needs to ensure success.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of retail or FMCG consultative selling experience.
- Experience with research techniques and solutions in FMCG, Tech, or Durables.
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Proven revenue, sales, and profitability objectives.
- Financial and contractual management skills.
- Selling cycle management expertise.
Compensation: $117,250-$150,000 base salary, potential incentive/bonus.
