What We Do Roo (www.roo.vet) has created the first B2B labor marketplace in animal healthcare connecting veterinary professionals with hospitals. Our dynamic platform enables hospitals to fulfill personnel needs in real time, while allowing high-quality veterinary professionals to secure work easily.

About the Role We are seeking a Client Support Specialist to facilitate positive user experiences for veterinarians, hospitals, and technicians.

Note: This position requires working during client support hours, which may include early mornings and evenings (Central time), and weekend rotations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries via email, LiveChat, phone (1-833-Roo Vet), etc.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve first-line issues.
  • Coordinate escalated issues with regional BD/AMs and other departments.
  • Manage potential call-outs with current processes.
  • Proactively document and share key learnings.
  • Maintain Hubspot for accurate client communication documentation.
  • Coordinate with Finance, data, and other departments on various matters (rainy-day, shift, payment reconciliation).
  • Generate reports as needed.

About You

  • 2+ years client/customer support experience, ideally in a start-up.
  • Vet technician/animal healthcare experience is a plus.
  • Proactive, organized, accurate communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiar with customer support tools.
  • Timely and efficient task completion.
  • Flexible and agile.
  • Driven to improve processes and communications.

Compensation

This is an hourly position. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
