Full-Time Collections and Billing Specialist

Job Overview: We are looking for a competent and motivated Collection Specialist to contact clients and collect outstanding payments, assisting the Billing Team as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor customer accounts to identify outstanding invoices.
• Contact clients early to encourage timely payments.
• Contact clients about overdue accounts/invoices.
• Investigate historical data for outstanding invoices and work on settlements.
• Resolve billing and customer payment queries with the billing team.
• Identify and resolve collection issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Keep records of account status and collection efforts for outstanding invoices and client accounts.
• Analyze aging reports related to billing activities.
• Report weekly on collection activity and accounts receivable status.
• Work closely with the billing team to track billing transactions and provide assistance.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance collections efficiency.

Requirements, Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Collections Analyst or similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in collections processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including fluency in written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Salesforce Billing, NetSuite, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and billing regulations.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Patience and ability to manage stress.
• Comfortable working with targets.
