BryceTech is seeking a Communications Strategist to support the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Department of the Air Force. The role involves strategic planning, project management, and communication skills, working directly with the Air Force Program Management Office (PMO).
Responsibilities Include:
- Leading a team of communications and event support personnel.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies to support organizational goals and brand management, in coordination with program leadership.
- Planning and executing communications projects and initiatives, managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.
- Developing engaging and high-quality content for various platforms (social media, blogs, reports, presentations, etc.).
- Leading branding initiatives to maintain consistency in internal and external communications.
- Building and nurturing relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and media contacts for cohesive messaging.
- Travel is required for networking and outreach initiatives.
- Assessing and analyzing communication efforts, providing data-driven insights.
- Providing strategic insight and recommendations on products to meet performance goals.
- Monitoring industry trends and audience insights to keep communications fresh and relevant.
- Identifying process improvements for strong interpersonal relationships and collaboration.
- Assessing communication strategies, processes, tools, and providing improvement recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in program management, preferably in a military or government context.
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Organizational Management, Strategic Management, or Program/Project Management (preferred).
- Proficiency in extending narratives across various media channels.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.
- Data analysis, reporting, and evaluation skills.
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel.
- Secret clearance required.
