About this PositionThe Financial Services Representative (FSR) apprenticeship is a foundational role preparing you for long-term career growth in financial services. You will work in a phone-based environment at a Merrill Contact Center, delivering exceptional client service, supporting account needs, and building client relationships. This role offers best-in-class training, personalized coaching, and potential advancement into an Investment Specialist Trainee (1ST) role.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class client experiences through phone-based account servicing and issue resolution
• Assist with balance inquiries, account statements, and personal information updates
• Support clients with cash offers, PIN resets, document requests, online account linking, and money movement
• Identify clients’ financial needs and refer opportunities to specialist and sales teams
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of client interactions in internal systems

Job Skills/Requirements

• Strong oral and written communication, including professional phone etiquette and rapport building
• 1+ years customer service, retail, or call center experience preferred
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
• Organized, dependable, and adaptable; able to multitask in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of investment products (stocks, mutual funds, ETFs, bonds, annuities, retirement and banking accounts) is a plus
• Ambitious, resilient, goal-oriented, and eager to learn
