General Job Duties:

  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility (approximately daily).

Training: Orientation and on-the-job training provided.

Communication Skills:

  • Comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
  • Communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders (phone & in-person).

Essential Functions/Skills:

  • Basic Math Skills: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Making Change: Able to make correct monetary change.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
  • Motor Coordination: Eye-hand coordination for rapid, accurate movements.
  • Computer Skills: Entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions:

  • Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions (outside tasks).
  • Store temperatures range from 36 degrees to 90+ degrees.
  • Sudden temperature changes.
  • Food odors and cornmeal dust.
  • Cramped quarters (including walk-in cooler).
  • Hot surfaces/tools (up to 500+ degrees).
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing Requirements:

  • Talking and hearing on telephone.
  • Near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Physical Demands:

  • Standing: Most tasks performed while standing.
  • Walking: Short distances.
  • Sitting: Paperwork at desk/table.
  • Lifting: Up to 50 pounds (ingredients & supplies).
  • Carrying: Various items (cans, pizza sauce, trays of dough).
  • Pushing/Pulling: Moving trays on dollies.
  • Climbing: Occasional stairs/ladders.
  • Stooping/Bending: Necessary at certain stations.
  • Reaching: Up, down, and forward (including high shelves and low areas).
  • Hand Tasks: Continuous use of hands for various tasks (dough shaping, using tools).
  • Machines/Tools: Use of pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, pizza peel.

Delivery Job Duties (if applicable): Deliver product to customers, deliver flyers, Requires Valid driver's license. Access to insured vehicle.

  • Delivery Skills: Navigating to customer locations, adverse terrain.
  • Carrying (Delivery): Carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages.
  • Driving: Delivering pizzas within a designated area.
  • Walking/Climbing (Delivery): Between store and vehicle, customer locations, navigating stairs.

Delivery Work Conditions:

  • Exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Sensing (Delivery): Far vision and night vision for driving.
