Job Details

We are seeking a proactive and empathetic Customer Support Agent to assist residents with issues related to our property portal. This includes support for payment processing, maintenance ticket submissions, and general portal navigation. The ideal candidate will have experience using SAP and RealPage within a property management environment.

Remote opportunities available in: AZ, CA, FL, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, TN, TX, UT.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to resident inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing a positive and solution-focused customer experience.
  • Support residents with the property portal for tasks like rent payments, maintenance tickets, and community resources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payment-related issues (transaction failures, billing discrepancies, auto-pay).
  • Guide residents through submitting and tracking maintenance requests.
  • Utilize SAP and RealPage to manage resident records, requests, and financial transactions.
  • Document customer interactions in the CRM and escalate complex issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for prompt resolution of resident concerns.
  • Stay updated on portal features, policy changes, and process updates.
  • Offer feedback to improve the customer experience and portal usability.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of customer support experience, preferably in property management or real estate.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and RealPage platforms is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM and customer support tools (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, independent work, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Empathetic and professional demeanor, especially when handling escalated issues.
