The Support Specialist Role Provides front-line inbound customer support via email and chat (CST time zone, 9-5).

  • Handles first-level support issues independently.
  • Triages customer inquiries based on existing documentation or routing questions to SMEs.
  • Recognizes urgent issues and escalates them to support leadership.
  • Documents customer interactions.
  • Adheres to SLAs for first responses and effective communication practices.
  • Adheres to security and data protection guidelines.
  • Documents and updates processes as needed.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience with limited-scope tasks and projects.
  • Proficiency in learning existing tools, resources, and processes.
  • Ability to follow procedures to analyze situations or data.
  • Building of stable working relationships.
  • Navigating customer objections and demands.
  • Using judgment, discretion and resources to solve problems.
  • Seeking guidance from supervisors and senior peers when needed.
  • Supporting customers via chat, email and possibly phone.
  • Strong written communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).
  • Compassion and patience.
  • Experience within or closely related to HR.
