The Support Specialist Role Provides front-line inbound customer support via email and chat (CST time zone, 9-5).
- Handles first-level support issues independently.
- Triages customer inquiries based on existing documentation or routing questions to SMEs.
- Recognizes urgent issues and escalates them to support leadership.
- Documents customer interactions.
- Adheres to SLAs for first responses and effective communication practices.
- Adheres to security and data protection guidelines.
- Documents and updates processes as needed.
Skills and Experience
- Experience with limited-scope tasks and projects.
- Proficiency in learning existing tools, resources, and processes.
- Ability to follow procedures to analyze situations or data.
- Building of stable working relationships.
- Navigating customer objections and demands.
- Using judgment, discretion and resources to solve problems.
- Seeking guidance from supervisors and senior peers when needed.
- Supporting customers via chat, email and possibly phone.
- Strong written communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).
- Compassion and patience.
- Experience within or closely related to HR.
