Job Details
Directs the sales, service, and distribution of the organization's products and services within a specified region.
Ensures maximum sales volume and profitability for the organization's products and services in the assigned region.
Owns the entire account selling process from initial prospecting through service implementation, including forecasting, managing the sales funnel, proposal generation, contract negotiation, sales data management, and exceeding monthly revenue objectives.
Provides comprehensive, timely territory/pipeline activity reports, new prospect lists, sales forecasts, and action plans to maintain required sales targets.
Develops, implements, and meets sales forecasts and budgets. Manages multiple projects.
Sells to a variety of buying influences, generally mid-to-upper-level managers, occasionally C-Level buyers.
Understands competitive positioning and market buying behavior, in addition to pricing relative to the competitive environment and market conditions.
Develops basic account territory plans that include detailed account insight, competitive knowledge, organizational structure, top account information, total solution selling, and future opportunities/threats.
Mentors others on the sales team to ensure their success and career development. Coordinates and shares knowledge and information with other Sales Representatives and Sales Managers.
Identifies and assists in problem-solving of process/procedure or product improvements by identifying trends, problems, market changes, and customer feedback.
Manages customer relationships and develops strategic and tactical plans to optimize sales potential.
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Demonstrates successful selling abilities, including cold calling, as well as strong products and services knowledge relating to the printing industry.
Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills for proposal development, presentations to internal and external customers, and the development of sales representatives. Strong negotiation skills.
Has good analytical ability to conduct comprehensive customer needs analyses, develop recommendations, overcome objections, and create solutions. Requires ingenuity, resourcefulness, and creativity.
Has the ability to lead and create an atmosphere where others can perform at an optimal level.
Understands all company policies, procedures, and principles of business ethics and ensures communication and implementation within the team.
Works in a highly competitive and dynamic sales environment.
Uses Microsoft Office Suite.
Possesses a valid driver's license.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in business or related field, with 8+ years of selling and management experience.
Requires very good understanding of sales and management principles.
Salary range: $155,000 to $248,200/year (adjustable based on location and may change).
