Full-Time Dispatch Specialist I

Brightspeed is seeking a Dispatch Specialist I to join our team!

As a Dispatch Specialist I, you will monitor technician workflow, evaluate and reassign work as needed.

You will provide updates and status information on work progress, escalating as necessary.

• Utilize systems to monitor workflow and assign work to qualified technicians.
• Evaluate and reassign work to available technicians.
• Monitor and regulate work volumes.
• Communicate with technicians and other employees to address resource availability imbalances.
• Read and analyze exception service orders and repair tickets to dispatch to the appropriate technician based on company criteria.
• Ensure accurate processing of service orders and repair tickets.
• Utilize job skills, company policies, and dispatch procedures to complete assigned tasks.
• Contact customers via phone/email/text to schedule, reschedule, or confirm appointments.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve appointment-related issues.

Requirements:

• High School, GED, or equivalent education and relevant experience
• 2+ years of related experience
• Strong prioritization and time management skills
• Strong customer service background
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows
• Understanding of team collaboration
