Enrollment Specialist Opportunity
At a Glance
The Enrollment Specialist serves as a team member, building trusted relationships with current and potential students, utilizing knowledge of university programs and features. Specialists provide excellent service, understanding students' goals to identify the appropriate program for success.
Responsibilities
- Mastering the enrollment process, including financial aid.
- Communicating the value proposition of programs through various methods (phone, mail, fax, direct mail) to enable informed decisions.
- Utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving to resolve student issues and ensure a positive experience.
- Exceeding performance standards through personal and team conduct.
- Guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, assessing qualifications for various programs (doctoral, alumni).
- Conducting quality inbound/outbound communications to increase lead activity, complete/accurate applications, maintain professional demeanor and positive relationships.
- Tracking and entering accurate student information, observing confidentiality.
- Maintaining positive relationships to support program persistence and generate referrals.
- Collaborating with the team and other departments.
- Participating in training sessions for student enrollment and team collaboration.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Complying with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years of customer service, account management, or relationship building experience
- 1+ years of admissions experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (Preferred)
- Confident telephone presence
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated, able to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- High-level understanding of products and degree programs
- Effective time management skills, sense of urgency, and planning/prioritization abilities
- Consultative skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to receive constructive feedback and demonstrate accountability
- Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and good judgment
- Successful completion of Enrollment Specialist training, including product evaluations and telephone assessments.
- Compliance with Adtalem Code of Conduct and Ethics policy
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $18.15 - $32.86. Specific salary will depend on several factors (experience, location, etc.).
