Enrollment Specialist opportunity to join our team.
Opportunity at a Glance The Specialist, Enrollment serves as a team member to build trusted relationships with current and potential students. Specialists provide excellent service to prospective students to understand their goals, identify the appropriate program for their success.
Responsibilities
- Master the enrollment process, including financial aid.
- Communicate program value propositions to provide an excellent student experience via various methods (phone, mail, etc.) to enable informed program choices.
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving to address student issues, ensuring a positive experience.
- Guide prospective students through the enrollment process, assessing qualifications for all programs (including doctoral and alumni).
- Conduct quality communications (inbound/outbound), increase lead activity, and ensure complete/accurate applications with professional demeanor and positive relationships.
- Track and enter student information into software accurately, maintaining confidentiality.
- Maintain positive student relationships to support program persistence and generate referrals.
- Collaborate with direct team and other departments.
- Participate in training for student enrollment and team collaboration.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years customer service, account management, or relationship building experience.
- 1+ years admissions experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (preferred)
- Confident telephone presence
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated, effective team worker
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- High-level understanding of products and programs
- Strong time management, sense of urgency, and planning skills
- Consultative skills, adaptable to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to receive and act on constructive feedback
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and good judgment skills
- Successful completion of Enrollment Specialist training (including product evaluations and telephone assessments)
- Compliance with Adtalem Code of Conduct and Ethics
Salary
The expected salary range is $18.15 - $32.86 per year, adjusted based on legal factors such as experience and training, geographic location, and responsibility.
