Job Details
Field Service Engineer covering the West Midlands and Wales.
Located in the SW area covering the West Midlands and Wales. Company van with fuel card.
Delivering hands-on servicing and repair of water treatment equipment. Responsible for your own diary to ensure client site visits and service in line with their service level agreement.
Undertake scheduled and one-off planned services. Handle emergency call-outs.
Repair or installation of equipment at customer sites.
Daily duties:
- Undertake planned and unplanned service.
- Perform routine maintenance work including chemical sanitation.
- Minimize customer downtime.
- Deliver and install new equipment.
- Test and commission work prior to leaving the work-site.
- Explain and demonstrate equipment usage if necessary.
- Ensure customer sign-off before leaving the site.
- Promote service contracts and report new opportunities.
- Maintain spare parts stock and records.
- Maintain all tools.
- Actively participate in equipment servicing.
Background and Skills:
- Relevant equipment service experience (e.g., electro-mechanical, water treatment).
- Ability to work alone on customer sites.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends (rota system).
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Cover Leicester, Coventry, Northampton area.
