Leasing Consultant at Dock 59.

Job Responsibilities:

• Interacting with residents (potential and existing).
• Assisting with viewing/touring.
• Providing information about apartments.
• Processing rental applications.
• Securing lease agreements.
• Assisting with lease renewals.
• Following Fair Housing Laws and Company policy.
• Meeting client expectations.
• Maintaining occupancy levels.
• Exhibiting professional leasing techniques.
• Assisting with market surveys and analysis.
• Assisting with advertising and marketing.
• Ensuring online marketing updates.
• Promoting resident/management relations.
• Placing and following up on customer needs.
• Assisting with resident retention.
• Ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy of residents.
• Completing move-in orientations.
• Maintaining resident files (forms, leases, documents).
• Ensuring document and reporting system integrity.
• Assisting with periodic reporting.
• Ensuring Risk Management compliance.
• Reporting injuries, illnesses, and property damage.
• Handling emergencies and stressful situations professionally.
• Assisting residents with maintenance needs.
• Documenting and ensuring timely completion of maintenance.
• Monitoring physical assets and reporting concerns.
• Following up on maintenance requests.
• Enforcing community rules and regulations.
• Complying with Fair Housing Laws and company policies.
• Adhering to dress code policy.
• Meeting training requirements (Grace Hill, Safety Meetings, etc.).
• Performing supervisor-directed tasks, including special projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ year experience in a similar role (preferred).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, current insurance, and operable vehicle.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management software, email, internet, social media).
