Initial onboarding will require 1-2 weeks in Red Wing, MN.
Deliver exceptional customer service to a diverse range of domestic and international clients (industrial, retail, distributor, direct-to-industry).
Manage all aspects of customer accounts, focusing on order processing, scheduling, purchasing, warehousing, and transportation.
Address customer inquiries about products and participation in Red Wing for Business.
Collaborate with the Sales team to set up and manage customer accounts and programs.
Typical Day Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, timely, knowledgeable support exceeding customer expectations.
- Oversee international and domestic orders (processing, tracking, delivery date determination, status communication).
- Schedule shipments, address firm/planned order issues.
- Prepare quotes, coordinate special requirements (invoicing, packaging, transportation), establish customer master instructions.
- Resolve pricing discrepancies, monitor account status, ensure compliance with import/export regulations and shipping documentation.
- Identify customer needs, provide tailored solutions aligned with their requirements and program goals.
- Collaborate with Sales team to manage account setup, program changes, issue resolution, and customer communications.
- Work with Global Sales and Service teams to maintain seamless service for international customers.
- Manage Red Wing for Business Advantage Account changes with external partners, ensuring system accuracy and resolving disputes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience/training; or equivalent combination.
- Experience in customer service and/or export compliance.
Required Skills:
- Bilingual English/Spanish (oral & written).
- Customer service-driven.
- Strong written & oral communication skills, active listening, and connection with others.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, internet, Salesforce, and ERP systems.
- Accurate and fast data entry skills (10-key proficiency a plus).
- Ability to switch smoothly between software applications.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to relate to people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, building trust with customers.
