Full-Time Government Badging Specialist

Salary Range: $37,500-$44,600 (depending on experience).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enrollment Process Management: Schedule appointments, manage walk-ins for PIV Card Activations, Enrollments, Certificate Updates and PIN Resets. Answer phone calls/email inquiries for PIV credentials and access control.
• Coordinate and conduct the enrollment process: Verify applicant identity, collect required documents.
• Manage appointments: Accommodate applicants efficiently and accurately.
• Documentation and Data Collection: Accurately collect personal information, biometric data (fingerprints), and other details.
• Ensure all required documents are properly completed and submitted.
• Verification and Authentication: Verify authenticity of documents, prevent fraudulent enrollment.
• Data Security and Privacy: Handle sensitive information with discretion, adhere to data protection regulations.
• Communication: Communicate clearly with applicants, explain process, required documents. Provide excellent customer service, address questions and concerns, and de-escalate issues.
• Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of the enrollment process, applicant information, enrollment dates and issues.
• Compliance and Training: Stay updated on policies, regulations and procedures. Participate in training sessions.

Required Competencies:

• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to adapt to changing security procedures
• Prior experience in similar roles, customer service or administrative positions
• Attention to detail, strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
• Attend local hiring events 3-4 times a month (may vary).

Education: High School diploma or GED

Physical Requirements: Sedentary work, occasional stair climbing, standing, walking, reaching, squatting, bending, pulling, grasping, holding, and lifting objects up to 25-30 lbs. Requires typing for most of the day, effective communication.

Clearance Requirement: US Citizenship required. Active Public Trust/MBI clearance or ability to obtain one.
