Job Description: The Senior Manager of HR will oversee key HR aspects: talent management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate brings HR expertise and strategically aligns HR with business goals.
- Talent Management & Acquisition: Develop and execute comprehensive talent management strategies (pay band analysis, top talent sourcing); manage the recruitment process (from sourcing/screening to negotiating offers); oversee headcount planning aligned with department needs and budgets; conduct pay band analysis for fair/competitive compensation practices; lead onboarding for smooth integration into company culture.
- Compensation & Benefits: Manage payroll processes (accuracy & compliance); coordinate with benefit providers for timely employee benefits; lead performance management efforts (setting guidelines & processes for employee growth); oversee employee insurance, compliance, and alignment with state/federal requirements.
- Employee Relations: Address employee issues (tactical support for a positive work environment); create/distribute bonus letters (ensure clarity and transparency); lead Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), severance, and termination processes; mediate conflicts between managers and team members (fair/constructive resolutions).
Qualifications: 5+ years of HR leadership (generalist or director level); SHRM or PHR certification preferred; strong understanding of talent management, compensation, and benefits; proficiency in payroll/HR management systems; excellent communication skills; strong business acumen, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to influence/negotiate; strong attention to detail and sense of urgency; knowledge of employment laws and regulations (compliance). Travel up to 5%.
