Job Details

Key Account Specialist performs account management and coordination activities, adhering to SGS procedures, processes, and accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Management: Primary point of contact for selected clients, focal point for SGS CBE services post-contract, and monitor contract performance, managing client-specific KPIs, and identifying performance risks.
  2. Contract Management: Manage commercial aspects of contracts, including profit maintenance and business development. Provide liaison between CBE personnel and manage contract communication. Undertake contract-specific activities (e.g., documentation, training, project reviews, reporting).
  3. Client Communication: Communicate with auditors regarding program announcements, procedures, etc., and coordinate auditor training. Report project performance and results to client senior management.
  4. Customer Satisfaction: Achieve client retention targets and high customer satisfaction survey results through excellent service and risk management.
  5. Business Development: Identify and drive business development opportunities for existing accounts in the US and CA. Identify revenue opportunities, collaborate with sales, and achieve new business development targets.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements to enhance service delivery, specifically timely certification issuance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience (required); Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Experience: 3+ years in customer care or administrative roles (required)
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (required); effective relationship building; proficiency in computer software (Word, Excel, Certnet, SGS scheduling system, Outlook, etc.).
  • Other: Ability to manage multiple projects, exercise independent judgment, and comply with company policies.

Salary: $25/hr-$33/hr (based on experience).
