Job Details
Key Account Specialist performs account management/coordination activities adhering to SGS procedures and accreditation requirements. Ensure customer contracts meet needs and expectations, delivering high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for selected clients.
- Focal point for SGS CBE services post-contract award.
- Monitor and manage contract performance; monitor SGS performance regarding client-specific KPIs.
- Identify risks relating to poor performance or client expectations.
- Manage commercial aspects of contracts, including profit maintenance and business development opportunities.
- Liaise with CBE personnel and manage contract communication.
- Undertake contract-specific activities (documentation, training, project reviews, reporting).
- Communicate with auditors; coordinate auditor trainings.
- Report project performance and results to clients' senior management.
- Achieve client retention targets and high customer satisfaction scores.
- Manage risk and report results/corrective actions to management.
- Promote company image, capability, and integrity.
- Implement process improvements to enhance service delivery, especially certification issuance.
- Handle any assigned projects.
- Identify and drive business development opportunities for existing client accounts in the US and CA.
- Identify and input on new revenue opportunities; align with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the sales team for new business development.
- Achieve annual targets for new business development.
- Your business development pipeline is evaluated quarterly.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience (required).
- Bachelor's degree (preferred).
- 3+ years customer care/administrative experience (required).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (required).
- Ability to build relationships with subordinates, peers, management, and external customers (required).
- Ability to follow work instructions accurately and safely (required).
- Proficient with computer software (Word, Excel, Certnet, SGS scheduling system, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and composition.
- Adhere to company policies (Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, Professional Conduct).
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Certnet, or current SGS scheduling system.
