Full-Time Patient Navigation Specialist I

About the Role: We are looking for a full-time Patient Navigation Specialist I – Screening to join our newly formed Screening Patient Navigation Department. This department is dedicated to supporting patients through the screening process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patient screening activities.
• Communicate professionally via phone, email, and Salesforce CRM for a smooth patient experience.
• Build strong relationships with patients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Participate in territory-specific meetings.
• Ensure accurate and prompt documentation in Salesforce.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor case progress and escalate issues appropriately.
• Achieve team and individual goals.
• Resolve escalated situations professionally.
• Demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with additional administrative duties.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred); high school diploma required.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service within healthcare settings.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing procedures.
• Flexibility with respect to working hours.
• Bilingual skills (a plus).

Work Model: Primarily remote with occasional travel to Guardant Health offices. Hybrid work model.

Salary Range: $20.76 - $28.54 USD/hour (Palo Alto, CA: $24.42 - $33.58/hour)
