About Equip: Equip is a virtual eating disorder treatment program, aiming to provide treatment access to everyone needing it.

About the role: The Patient Services Representative I manages inbound patient inquiries (phone, email, etc.). They provide program information, discuss insurance/finances, and route interested families to Specialists. They document calls in a CRM.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer inquiries (calls, emails, web forms) and provide information to patients, families, and referents.
  • Quickly respond to inquiries, routing them to the appropriate departments.
  • Collect patient information and input data into systems.
  • Schedule patient screenings, make reminder calls, and support patients/families.
  • Resolve patient requests in one contact or effectively manage complex issues, prioritizing customer experience.
  • Encourage families/patients to proceed with admissions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years call center/customer service/patient scheduling experience.
  • Experience with high-volume inbound call management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Organized and results-driven.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments.

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM MST/CST

Bonus experience:

  • Healthcare/front desk management or health unit coordination experience.
  • Remote work experience.
  • Health-tech startup experience.
  • Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment.

Compensation: $21 - $24/hr. Quarterly target performance bonus eligible.

Physical Demands: 100% remote, stationary position. Standard office equipment use, telephone communication.
