People Partner
Benefits Administration: Managing daily employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life, 401k). Enroll new employees, process changes related to life events. Manage the annual open enrollment cycle, and communicate plan changes effectively.
Leave of Absence Management: Administer leave of absence processes (medical, personal, disability, FMLA). Interpret FMLA and ADA implications, and support employees during leave of absence.
Compliance and Reporting: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA). Prepare and file reports (Form 5500, ACA filings), and update benefit policies/procedures.
Employee Support & Communication: Provide support for employee benefits inquiries, and resolve issues promptly. Provide benefit education, and address/resolve concerns; escalate complex issues.
Vendor Management: Partner with benefits providers, evaluate vendors, and assist with contract negotiations.
Data Management & Analysis: Maintain accurate benefits records, analyze trends, and recommend program improvements/cost savings.
Program Development: Support the design and implementation of new benefits offerings. Collaborate on wellness initiatives and incentives.
