The Product Consultant is responsible for providing high quality customer care to create a positive experience for consumers.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing inbound calls and emails from customers with product and warranty questions.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance Consumer Experience: Deliver an exceptional consumer experience fostering positive, unsolicited "word of mouth" promotion.
- Product and Technical Support: Handle inbound consumer calls to troubleshoot and resolve product or technical issues, identify root causes, and communicate effective solutions.
- Leverage Technology: Utilize available technology to assist consumers with product identification, resolutions, repair, installation, and service kits/product use.
- Resolve Sensitive Issues: Manage challenging or sensitive consumer situations professionally, working toward solutions benefiting both the consumer and FBIN.
- Maintain Professionalism: Ensure composure and professionalism in all interactions.
- Meet Performance Standards: Consistently achieve daily targets for call quality, call management, productivity, and adherence to operational processes.
- Accurate Record-Keeping: Document consumer details, product specifics, and troubleshooting steps accurately.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Perform additional duties as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience in a contact center or other fast-paced customer service environment
- Minimum 6 months demonstrated performance as an Associate Product Consultant
- Meet internet speed requirements, pass background and drug tests
- Safe and secure workspace
- Follow department's Remote Work Policy
- Excellent professional communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient PC skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word), Microsoft Teams
- Ability to thrive in a work environment demanding high-level focus, low mobility, and high observation
- Maintain a positive approach, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Prior ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Salary: $31,000 - $44,000 (USD)
