Product Support Representative handles customer and Skillsoft employee inquiries via live help, phone, and email.
- Liaise with clients to meet their needs.
- Route or answer all incoming communication (email, phone, etc.) from customers and clients.
- Maintain student database.
- Stay updated on course/curriculum offerings’ changes and certification tracks; recommend course orders.
- Be familiar with all Skillsoft products (Percipio, Books24x7, Skillsoft Compliance).
- Maintain workload measurement time sheets for supervisors.
- Adhere to service level agreements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent training/experience.
- Competent in written and spoken English.
- In-depth understanding (expert user) of Customer Service tools.
- 1+ years experience in Product Support or Customer Service for an e-business company, ISP, or software vendor, servicing both consumers and corporate customers.
- Good knowledge of Windows Platforms, eCommerce, and Web/Internet platforms.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
- Knowledge of HTML, firewalls, and proxy servers.
- Ability to understand and utilize new technologies/systems.
- Typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
Salary Range: $32,000 - $48,000 annually.
