Full-Time Project Manager - Environmental Remediation

AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support environmental remediation projects.

This role will primarily oversee Federal environmental projects and may offer remote work opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

• Project invoicing and cash flow management
• Managing professional and technical staff on complex projects
• Applying scientific principles and technology to develop solutions
• Interpreting data, analyzing findings, and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Analyzing financial statements and tracking budgets
• Supervising junior and mid-level staff
• Preparing work plans and project studies
• Completing complex assignments and providing solutions.
• Conducting reviews and providing staff feedback
• Preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years experience, or equivalent.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional license (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or similar)
• 10+ years' experience in environmental remediation (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, PFAS, munitions)
• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations
• Experience managing environmental projects for Federal clients (USACE, AFCEC, Navy)
• Knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Team management and scheduling experience
