AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support environmental remediation projects.
This role will primarily oversee Federal environmental projects and may offer remote work opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
- Project invoicing and cash flow management
- Managing professional and technical staff on complex projects
- Applying scientific principles and technology to develop solutions
- Interpreting data, analyzing findings, and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Analyzing financial statements and tracking budgets
- Supervising junior and mid-level staff
- Preparing work plans and project studies
- Completing complex assignments and providing solutions.
- Conducting reviews and providing staff feedback
- Preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years experience, or equivalent.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional license (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or similar)
- 10+ years' experience in environmental remediation (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, PFAS, munitions)
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations
- Experience managing environmental projects for Federal clients (USACE, AFCEC, Navy)
- Knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Team management and scheduling experience
