The Project Manager - Talent and Learning will ensure delivery and advocacy of global Talent and Learning Programs in early stages, like developing the career framework, evolving the Career Hub, and developing world-class Leadership Development offerings. This is a critical part of the global HR strategy.
The Project Manager will build and deliver change and communication plans to support adoption and engagement in programs during the crucial stand-up phase.
Reporting to the Agile Delivery Lead and working with product owners in Global Leadership, Talent & Learning teams, the role's primary responsibility is project managing the implementation of new talent and learning products.
Using change management strategies and communication plans, the role will support the development and evolution of needs-based solutions to maximize leader and employee adoption.
The Project Manager might work on a single major product or develop several smaller products, from initial value canvas development, through project initiation, development, release testing, activation, and ensuring a smooth transition to the Shared Service Centre.
Key responsibilities include planning, impact measurement, release planning, communications planning, identifying and tracking milestones, and communicating with key partners.
The role requires knowledge of change management and HR process best practices, combined with agile project management and design thinking approaches, a sound understanding of the Global People Strategy, and how programs contribute to overall performance enhancement at Experian.
Main Accountabilities:
- Project management of products developed by global Talent & Learning product managers (e.g., Strategic Workforce Planning, Leadership Development, Technology Skills).
- Guiding and ensuring change management plans and practices for core projects and programs to guarantee understanding, traction, and engagement across partners.
- Managing and communicating people data for insights and recommendations during product development.
- Communicating with HRBPs, the broader HR community, and other team members to ensure smooth project and process delivery.
- Maintaining close relationships with the Service Delivery team (post-establishment) to ensure product scalability and transition to global processes.
- Leading the Project Plan, identifying and communicating milestones to partners.
- Collaborating with the product owner and project team to deliver milestones on time and within budget and resources.
- Presenting people data insights to inform decision-making and action plans.
- Managing a regular stand-up mechanism to provide updates, capture success metrics, and track program impact.
- Monitoring progress and escalating risks to the product owner.
- Collaborating across HR and the wider business to identify dependencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or similar; or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Project Management.
- Experience in HR/Talent and Learning Programs.
- Knowledge of Agile project management methodology and tools.
- Comms and Change Management experience, including planning and delivery of communication campaigns.
- Understanding of global messaging guidelines and delivering clear, jargon-free artefacts and assets.
- Knowledge of communication tools (videos, infographics, posters).
