We have a new opportunity for a Rental Agent to join our team at our Manchester Depot.
As a Rental Agent, you will be the key point of contact for our clients and internal colleagues within the Depot. Within the role you will establish and develop new and existing business through building excellent relationships with our customers.
YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- Customer Service & Client Interaction Deliver high-quality service through professional communication (phone, email, and face-to-face), assisting with queries, providing quotes, and promoting company products.
- Booking & Rental Management Accurately process bookings, manage rental agreements from start to finish, follow up on leads, and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Fleet & Logistics Coordination Support vehicle handovers, check-ins, cross hires, and yard checks; plan and coordinate vehicle deliveries and collections with the driver team.
- Reception & Administrative Support Assist on the reception desk when required, handle incoming mail, transfer calls appropriately, and carry out general administrative duties.
- Relationship Building & Business Development Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, acting as a key point of contact and brand ambassador for the company.
- Standards & Product Knowledge Uphold company standards, ensure compliance with procedures, and maintain a solid understanding of the vehicle fleet and product offerings.
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- Experience Significant experience working within a high-volume, fast-paced Agent role, preferably within the Hire industry
- Adaptability You excel in a dynamic environment and can work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
- Attention to Detail You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accurate completion of all handover paperwork and vehicle inspections
- Communication You have strong communication skills, enabling clear and friendly interactions with customers, even in busy settings
- Flexibility You are open to work on a shift rotation to cover branch operating hours, ensuring continuous service
- Driving License You hold a valid driving license and bring a minimum of 12 months driving experience
