Full-Time Senior Financial Aid Specialist

Job Summary: As a Senior Financial Aid Specialist, you will guide students and families through the financial aid process.

Responsibilities:

• Communicating with students, prospective students, and alumni regarding financial aid.
• Administering, determining eligibility, and processing financial aid.
• Processing verification and disbursements.
• Packaging state and federal aid.
• Counseling students and parents.
• Providing estimates and packaging information.
• Auditing and running reports.
• Interacting with other departments.
• Maintaining updated information on federal regulations.
• Assisting with private loans and VA benefits.
• Partnering with other departments to resolve issues.
• Training new hires and supporting current staff.
• Participating in projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of Financial Aid experience.
• CampusVue® experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and multi-tasking capability.
• Computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work PST hours.

Compensation: Starting at $25/hr DOE.
